The Fine Arts Club (TFAC) is a hobby club for art-lovers. We are a non-profit organisation working under the aegis of VIT University, Vellore. We are completely supported and funded by VIT University.
The only art club of its type at VIT, we specialize in arts like sketching, painting, sculpture, calligraphy, crafts, photography, digital design besides others. We conduct art events like workshops, competitions, exhibitions etc. for the benefit of the students and faculty of VIT. We are also an integral part of Riviera (the annual sports and cultural fest of VIT) by forming the Design & Arts Team that conceptualizes and coordinates the campus decoration. We put up splendid artworks every year that are admired by students, faculty,visitors, and thousands of followers on social media.
One of the very trademark of TFAC is the work it does during the fests Gravitas and Riviera. TFAC conducts its annual exhibition Kalakriti every year along with events like Art Carnival throughout the year. During the cultural fest, Riviera, TFAC holds fun art events such as Comic Strip, Bookmark Designing, Relay Art, etc for students of various visiting colleges.
TFAC represents VIT, Vellore in art events in college fests conducted by various colleges across India. Our artists have won numerous prices.
TFAC collaborates with clubs and chapter across VIT Vellore to help them with creative suggestions and decorative inputs. TFAC has held many succesful collaborations which has helped many clubs have appealing events. TFAC is always open to external collaboraters also.
